It all started when Tenny and Ellie met in first grade at Loveland Classical. They began to develop a crush on one another. Ellie would get bashful anytime little Tenny walked past her, and she would twirl her pigtails and giggle with her friends. Tenny, on the other hand, would chase Ellie around the playground, insistently teasing her. Ellie then transferred to a different school at the end of first grade, putting a brief hold on their love story. Tenny and Ellie reunited in seventh grade at Grace Place’s youth group right in their hometown, Berthoud. They became close and remained friends throughout high school. However, summer ‘24 is when everything started to change. They began to flirt and tease one another just like they would back in first grade again. It wasn’t until that fall that they finally admitted their feelings to one another, and Tenny asked Ellie out on a date. She said yes, and they went on a date to Glow Golf, played a couple rounds of putt-putt under neon, and fell a little more in love that night. Fast forward a year and a half here we are. Through all their ups and downs, through all of the thick and through all of the thin, ultimately, they kept persevering and choosing each other every day.
