For those traveling from out of state, we recommend flying into McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Knoxville, Tennessee. From there, Townsend is just a scenic drive away, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the Smokies along the way.
While Townsend offers cozy cabins and accommodations, some guests may prefer nearby cities for convenience and amenities. Here are lodging recommendations:
Knoxville:
About 40-45 minutes from the venue, you can expect to experience vibrant energy in boutique hotels or historic bed and breakfasts. West Knoxville will have more modern hotels and quick access to I-40.
Pigeon Forge:
A 30 minute drive to the venue from here, where you'll find parkway hotels and quick access to major attractions like Dollywood and the National Park.
Gatlinburg:
30-40 minutes from the venue. Here you'll find cozy inns and cabins within walking distance from many shops and restaurants.
