We ask that all of our guests dress in formal black-tie attire. We would love for all of our guests to be dressed their best! MEN | We kindly request your indulgence in wearing black tuxedos, or alternatively, black suits, both preferably paired with black bowties, to elevate the elegance of the evening. WOMEN | We graciously request that you wear a floor-length gown and encourage you to express your personal style through color.
If your guest name is listed on your invitation or you have a plus one option listed when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible with our closest family and friends who are listed on the invitation.
While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep the majority of our wedding an adults only event (18+). Please note that we have decided to involve a few kiddos in our family to be involved in the ceremony, but the reception will be solely adults only. If your child(ren) are not listed on your invitation, please make prior arrangements for them and enjoy a date night with us! Ultimately, we hope you can understand that we would like to create a sophisticated atmosphere for all of our guests. We would love for you to have a night out and celebrate with us, so we want to make sure you have plenty of time to arrange for childcare. Thank you for understanding.
Thankfully, our hotel room block is located is just across the street at The Trade Hotel, so no transportation required! If you choose to stay at a different hotel, Uber and Lyft are reliable and cost-effective ride share methods to get around Milwaukee.
We will miss you! As we prepare for the wedding, we kindly ask that you let us know that you won't be able to attend as soon as possible by using the RSVP section and responding accordingly.
Ceremony: We are so thrilled that you want to help us capture our wedding day, but we wanted to let you know that we are requesting an unplugged ceremony. We respectfully ask that you do not use your cellphone, camera, or any other devices during our ceremony and keep devices on silent. Don't worry, our photographer has everything covered, and we'll share our photos as soon as we can! Reception: On the other hand, please take pictures during cocktail hour and reception! We will have QR codes around the venue that you can scan to upload your pictures to our GuestPix photo sharing album. We want to see our celebration from your perspective too!
We ask that all guests please arrive about 30 minutes before the ceremony time of 5pm. This ensures that you will have plenty of time to grab a glass of champagne or sparkling water, mingle, and get seated! Please keep in mind that we have not reserved on-site parking. We suggest walking across the street from The Trade hotel if you are staying there, or taking an Uber/Lyft if you are staying elsewhere. If you plan on driving to the wedding, please allow enough time to find street parking.
