Question

What to wear...

Answer

Rehearsal Dinner: Dressy Casual Guests are encouraged to strike a balance between style and comfort, as we intend to enjoy time outside including laid-back lawn games. Men consider khakis or chinos and a button-down shirt or a collared polo shirt. You can choose to wear a blazer or a sport coat, but it is optional. Women consider a sundress, a jumpsuit, or a skirt and blouse. Embrace summery colors and patterns that reflect the festive atmosphere. Welcome Party (all are welcome): Attire same as rehearsal dinner above. **For rehearsal dinner and welcome party—Given the heatwave, we’re encouraging guests to adopt more weather-friendly attire while maintaining the spirit of “dressy casual”. Gentlemen, feel free to skip the blazer and opt for the short-sleeved polo/collared shirt with a pair of dress shorts or pants and loafers.** Church Ceremony/Reception: Black tie Gentlemen should wear a tuxedo. Ladies have a range of elegant options; a floor-length formal gown or a cocktail dress...don't be afraid to wear color still! (Consider a shawl or sweater for the church for more modesty.)
