We met through mutual friends. Ellie was nervous about meeting him for the first time due to the fact that all of his Facebook pictures were of his face completely covered, playing paintball, without any pictures of himself. Ultimately we met for a double date with our friends who introduced us and the rest is history. Here we are 5 years later and there are still barely any pictures of him on his Facebook.

We met during the off year Ellie took before going back to school. And once there was a legitimate relationship to consider, it helped her choose to return to nursing school at Elmira College, just a 40 minute drive from where Kutter lived at the time. We did the long distance thing for three years, the back and forth between Watkins Glenn and Ogdensburg - and dates every weekend during the school year. At the end of those three years we weren't sure about everything, but we knew whatever our next step was, we would take it together.

It included a new puppy (which was planned) and two friends to film from different angles (which was a surprise). Doesn't get much better than a puppy and an engagement.
