My sweet Matron of Honor!! My best friend and a friendship I highly value!! Faith and I have known each other since the first day of 7th grade and have gone through school, marriages, and this spring we got to welcome Faith and Treysons first baby to the world! Faith and I have a friendship that I could not find anywhere else, we have gone through highs and lows and stuck by each others sides ever since! Rachel is our family pastors’ daughter at our church and our friendship is something that has grown so much over the years. Rachel is a senior in high school and is such a leader in Mount Dora Youth. Even though her and I are a couple years apart in age I always learn so much from her in her faith. She leads the youth around her so well and I often hear her pointing youth students back to Jesus. It is so important to me to have friends who constantly point me to Jesus and encourage me in my own faith; and Rachel is that friend for me! - Ellie

Ethan is Ellie’s brother, and was one of the first friends I made at FBMD. He welcomed me with open arms into the church, into the youth ministry and into his life as a brother. It is in no small part, because of his warmth, and his trust, that Ellie and I have the wonderful relationship that we do. I’m thankful for him beyond words, and it will be a great joy and comfort to have him at the alter with me. - Kurtis

My friendship with Ahjanae is so special because we get to do ministry every day together! We work together in the youth ministry at Mount Dora Youth, but more than that, she has grown to become one of my dear friends. Knowing I have her by my side at youth on Wednesdays, and that she will take my role when Kurtis and I leave for seminary makes me so happy!! - Ellie

Ryan is a dear friend of mine and our friendship is truly something incredibly special. Ryan is the pastors daughter of Slayden Baptist Church where my grandparents attend. When my family goes up to see my grandparents I try to squeeze in some time to get coffee with this girl! Because she is also a pastors daughter she understands my role and my life better than most anyone else. Each time we are together it is such a refreshing time and it’s always at least 2 hours long!! Evan is nothing short of a little brother to me. Although he is Ellie’s brother by blood, he has been like a little brother to me for the better part of three years now. I have watched him grow up, mature and find his voice as a worship leader for The Lord Jesus. He is likely the funniest kid I have ever met, and he always keeps me on my toes. Without a doubt he will keep my heart light and joy filled on the day of my wedding. It will be wonderful to have him at the alter with me.
