Keegan and Ellie’s story began freshman year of college when they first met at a volleyball game, cheering on their friends, Connor and Emma. Living in the same dorm, they quickly became close friends. By sophomore year in the spring of 2020, fate stepped in again, bringing them back together. They went on their first date to a college bar in Boise, Idaho. Just as things began to fall into place, the world changed. COVID hit, campus closed, and students moved home. Keegan and Ellie, however, chose to stay in Boise, transforming the quiet, empty campus into their own private world and spending each day exploring it together. In the summer of 2022, they moved into their first place together—a tiny, quirky house from the 1950s. The space may have been a little rundown, but they saw it as the perfect foundation for building their future. That winter, they grew their family by adopting Nelli, a sweet, resilient pup from the Caldwell Humane Society who had been through rough times. With patience and love, Nelli flourished, becoming an inseparable part of their lives. The summer brought a new adventure when Keegan landed an internship in Irvine, California. They made the most of their little studio apartment, complete with a Walmart mattress and a camping table, fully embracing their California summer. After graduation, the journey took them to Eastern Idaho, where Keegan started a new job in Ammon. In a town far from family and friends, they embraced the adventure together. But after braving the cold, Ellie dreamed of warmer days, and in 2024, they decided to move to Arizona, excited to start this new chapter in the sunshine. Through all the places they’ve lived, Keegan and Ellie have been lucky to meet the most incredible people. They’re deeply grateful for the friends and family who have supported them every step of the way. Each one has made a meaningful impact on their lives, and they want everyone to know just how loved and appreciated they are. Through each move, new experience, and challenge, Keegan, Ellie, and Nelli have created a life full of adventure, love, and resilience—always ready for what’s next.
