Question

COVID-19

Answer

Your comfort and safety are important to us. Although the weekend will be held outside and we are doing our best to keep guests spread out, our nightmare is to have a "super-spreader" event. If you are uncomfortable coming to a gathering, we support that notion and understand that you need to do what is best for you. If you are comfortable coming, we ask that you take a covid test and do your best to mitigate exposure leading up to the wedding. There are several free and easy testing sites around. If you are in the Tahoe area, the LHI site in the Truckee Gateway center is great. Please allow 48-72 hrs to get your results. Obviously, please stay home if you've been exposed or feel ill. Let's just all please work together to make sure everyone is healthy and happy :)

Question

What can I expect from this weekend?

Answer

We are asking you to take a fair amount of responsibility for yourself. This location requires a level of self-reliance and we want to be totally transparent about that. Think of it as an opportunity to challenge yourself and enjoy the benefits of all that comes with doing new things. With that being said, if you are in need of gear, suggestions, or just a little pep talk, please reach out to us! We want you to come and most importantly, we want you to enjoy the experience.

Question

What should we bring?

Answer

Personal supplies should include: Bathing Suit, towel, yoga mat, flip flops, WATER SUPPLY FOR 3 DAYS, reusable water bottle, Camping Chairs!, beverage or adult beverages for Fri., stove, cutlery, coffee, dinner for Friday night (or eat before), 1 day of breakfast & lunch (or plan to go into Bishop or Mammoth for food), one ziplock bag, toothbrush, headlamps, earplugs, phone charger, musical instrument, warm clothes, wedding attire, & dancing shoes. Camping gear (tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, pillow).

Question

How do I know where I am staying?

Answer

When you arrive, please drive into the Inn's parking lot. We will have a table where you can view your sleeping assignment and pick up your cup for the weekend. The grounds are somewhat simple and small, but there will be maps here to help you get your bearings. Service is limited out there, so when in doubt, head to the inn!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Think ranch formal (google will help here)...But most importantly, we want you to express yourself in any way that makes you feel good. The wedding will be taking place in early fall so there's possibility of a significant temperature drop once the sun goes down. Bring a layer!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As much as we'd love for everyone to be invited to our wedding, we have to cut it off somewhere! If you do not have a partner who is addressed on your invitation, sadly the answer is no. But...reach out to us if you fall madly in love and find "the one" between now and then. I'm sure we can make some exceptions as long as they have killer dance moves.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Ideally, no. As much as we love kids, we want you to have a care-free weekend and fully enjoy yourself! We do understand if there are no other options and we can accommodate your family. If bringing a sitter is a way for you to come AND have fun, let's chat! We just want to boogie with ya.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please reach out to one of us with your food allergies.

Question

Are there any non-camping accommodations?

Answer

Yes and no. There are a few rooms at the inn and a couple of cottages that we are planning on reserving for certain guests. If camping is absolutely out of the question, reach out to us and let us know. Unfortunately, the closest hotels/air bnbs are in Bishop (45 mins away) and Mammoth (50 mins away), but that is an option. We will also post some suggestions on Campervan and RV rentals we recommend if camping gear is sparse in your house. Again, we want you to be comfy so let's chat!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

You are encouraged to come down on Friday 10/1 and camp a night early. We will have live music with some drinks. We encourage you to take advantage of this chance to soak in the tubs and enjoy one another's company before the big day!

Question

Will there be showers?

Answer

Unfortunately there are no showers for the campground, but you can cleanse yourself in the hot tubs (without soap) or bribe one of the inn/cottage guests to shower inside.

Question

Are dogs invited?

Answer

Dogs are allowed at the campground but if everyone brings their dog, there may be some issues and we don't want our guests to have to worry about that. Rogue poops, dog fights, stolen food, and wandering pups are a few problems that come to mind. So, as much as we LOVE your dog please leave them at home unless there is no other option.

Question
