Yes, it's the night before Thanksgiving! Picking a wedding date is never easy, given the crazy schedules and constraints we all have. But we're hoping that the kinda-fake work day that is the day before Thanksgiving, combined with the fact that no one has work the next day, should work for most folks! If you cannot make it, we will miss you but certainly understand.
Our wedding is not black tie or even "black tie invited" etc, so no need to don a tux. Think "cocktail attire" and suits — but truly, whatever sings to you on Rent The Runway will probably be fine.
Children invited to the wedding are very welcome at the ceremony and the reception. But for their — and your — convenience (and since Congregation Beth El has its own early childhood center in the building), we have hired a babysitter who will be available to supervise kids, along with providing games and snacks. Please let us know if you'd like more info!
Yes, all food served at Congregation Beth El is certified kosher and the caterer operates under supervision. Note that the wedding will be dairy and will not adhere to Cholov Yisrael.
Ehhhh no. But if you insist, feel free to come up with something creative and tag your photos. We can't stop you.
