What's the dress code?

Answer

Smart casual/dressy casual. Dress warm! Weather in Yosemite/Stanislaus can be hard to predict during early winter. It can either be mild and sunny or chilly and rainy/snowy. Layers are best. We will update any weather forecasts the closer we get to the date.

Can I book elsewhere if I don't want to stay at Evergreen Lodge?

Answer

You may. However, our discount code only applies to Evergreen. Nearby accommodations include Rush Creek Lodge (partnered with Evergreen) and Lillaskog Lodge.

When should I book my cabin using the promo code by?

Answer

Please book by August 4th to get a discounted cabin. You can book later, but at full price.

What is there to do in & around Evergreen Lodge anyway?

Answer

Lots of things! Evergreen Lodge has countless recreational activities. Check this link out: www.evergreenlodge.com/play/. They have everything from disc golf to stargazing to hiking and more. If you want to relax during your weekend away, you can book a massage cabana! They also have a heated pool that is usable in the winter. As a guest at Evergreen Lodge, you also have access to the spa at Rush Creek Lodge across the road from the entrance of Evergreen Rd.

Can we carpool?

Answer

Definitely! We highly recommend you do. You can also fly into Sacramento if you'd prefer and then drive over to Evergreen.

Do I need a special permit to get into Yosemite National Park?

Answer

During our wedding weekend, you do not need to pay for a YNP reservation. Evergreen Lodge is just outside of Yosemite near the border. However, if you would like to enter Yosemite proper, you may have to pay a $35 entrance fee.

COVID's still a thing. Anything we need to know?

Answer

We want everyone during our weekend getaway to feel safe and to stay healthy. If you're feeling sick AT ALL, please do not come to the wedding. Please take an at-home test the day you arrive at Evergreen to ensure everyone's safety.
