FAQs

We can't wait to celebrate with you! Please read below for important information about our wedding.
Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Plan to arrive at the venue by 2:30 p.m. so that you can find a seat and get comfortable. The ceremony officially begins at 3 p.m.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual/semi-formal (think sundresses, slacks, florals). The wedding will be at a barn venue, so cowboy boots are encouraged! It may be hot in August so be sure to check the weather and dress accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

To keep things intimate, we’re only able to host the guests named on your invitation. Thank you for understanding—it means so much to us.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

There will be a light appetizer right after the ceremony, followed by a taco dinner and non-alcoholic beverages.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a gravel parking lot on site within close walking distance of the ceremony and reception sites. Be sure to allow yourself some time to find a parking spot. Carpooling is recommended if you can.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Our hope is to have all of our family and friends fully present with us as we make our commitment to one another. For that reason, please refrain from using mobile devices or cameras during the ceremony portion of the event. Feel free to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 10 so that we can plan accordingly.

Question

I have a food allergy; can I make a special request?

Answer

We want to make sure you can celebrate with us safely. To help you plan ahead, we wanted to let you know that we will be serving meat-based tacos (chicken, beef, pork) with a side of beans and rice (cooked without lard), and tortilla chips and salsa. If you have questions or concerns about allergies or dietary restrictions with this meal, please reach out to Ellie or Bryan. If your allergies are such that you would feel most comfortable bringing your own food in a cooler, please don't hesitate to do so; we understand!
