Smart casual/business casual. This is an informal event, and we want people to be comfortable, but no sweats or ripped jeans please! Nice jeans, slacks/chinos, button-ups, flanels, collared short-sleeve shirts, sport jacket or blazers for men. Dress pants, nice jeans or skirts, heels/boots/flats, semi-casual dresses, blouses, blazers for women. When in doubt, Google is your friend :)
Yes! We have a number of family members that are gluten free. Please just indicate any dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, etc) on your RSVP.
Unfortunately we have to limit our event to adults only for most guests. Between family and friends, children would have added nearly 100 additional seats (wow! you guys have a lot of kids!) that we sadly do not have room for in the venue. Immediate family's children will be the only in attendance. While we love your kids, please leave them with a babysitter and help us enjoy our day kid-free!
Plus-ones are generally limited due to the maximum count we can fit in the venue. Only if you were explicitly given a plus-one will you be free to bring someone. When you search for your name on the RSVP page, couples are linked. If your name is solo, please no dates. If your name is linked with your significant other or "Guest" feel free to bring a date.
While we sent out e-vites, please provide your RSVP on this website instead of emailing Ellie and Brett directly. Simply visit the RSVP tab at the top of this website, and type in your first and last name. Couples will be linked so you should be able to find both members of your party by searching for one or the other. If you have any questions on how your name was entered or can't find yourself, please reach out to the couple directly.
Our Jandacek family friends, the Petroviches, were gracious enough to rent out their beautiful restaurant for us to celebrate with you all. Topaz is closed to the public on Sundays so this was the day that made the most sense for everyone involved.
The ceremony will be a private event for Ellie and Brett's immediate families only. We will be getting married (officiated by Jake, Ellie's brother in law) at 3pm. Guests are welcome to come any time after 3:30 for cocktails once the ceremony is done with dinner to follow.
We do not! Brett and Ellie are planning on traveling to Switzerland and Italy for their honeymoon later in 2023 and monetary gifts are welcome (and appreciated!) to help us pay for our dream trip if you so wish, but we do not have a traditional registry with household items.
We do not have a block, so feel free to stay with friends, family, or your choice of hotel if you're traveling in to celebrate with us.
