We're getting married!

We met in the most random place, the Czech Republic. We both happened to be at the right place at the right time. Braxen was attending the business program at Cumorah Academy and I (Ellie) was completing an english teaching internship. (Braxen was not my student! Although he always likes to tell people, he was in a different program entirely. The President of the school actually encouraged us to date. The missionaries at the Rome Italy temple thought he was hilarious for telling everyone he was my student.) Both of us had sworn off dating entirely, especially Braxen. According to his siblings, he was going to be the single fun uncle for life. But when we met, it was like we had be been friends forever. I can honestly say that we are best friends. Both of us are major nerds who love Star Wars, Superheros, traveling, and sports. Plus a ton of other stuff. We started to hang out every day at the academy. It wasn't that hard, seeing as how we lived on the same campus and ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner together. We got to know one another pretty quick. As of right now, we've spent over 3000 hours together and counting. It's pretty easy to do that when you live together for 3 months then go on a cross country trip. Braxen asked me out about two weeks after we met and had our first date in Prague. Then we flew to Milan Italy the next week. After that we traveled together every weekend. We've been all over the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy (Rome & Milan), Canada, and all over the United States. We've taken turns traveling to and from Canada the past couple months while being home. It's hard, but we've loved spending time with our families and getting to know new places. Luckily we don't have to do that much longer. Braxen proposed after the most perfect picnic in Waterton National Park in Canada. We will be living in Canada this summer and hopefully doing a lot of camping. We will both be attending BYUI where I will finish my English Education degree next fall and Brax will start his Finance degree.
