FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate those invited on the invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be noted when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your children, but due to the limited space at our venue, we have decided that our wedding will be adults only. We hope that you understand and can still join us for our special day!

Question

Do you have hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have booked a hotel block at the Hampton Inn Burlington. It's a block away from Mercantile Hall, so it's a quick walk away if you opt to stay here. If you book by March 11, 2026, you'll receive a discounted rate through our link. Space is limited for the block at this hotel, but we recommend staying here if you'd like to be close to the venue.

Question

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

Absolutely! We want our wedding to be a fun, yet safe, night for all, so please use the parking garage near the hotel, located at 224 E Washington Street. The garage has free overnight parking, as well as the lot of the hotel if you're staying overnight.

Question

What Is the dress code?

Answer

We can't wait to see all our friends and families dressed up with us! We are requesting a cocktail/semi-formal dress code for the evening. Feel free to wear whatever colors you would like, but please, no white and no jeans. Please note that, weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside. It will be April in Wisconsin, so the weather can vary. There will be heat lamps outside, but make sure to bring your coats just in case!

Question

What should I do if I have a dietary restriction/food allergy?

Answer

Dinner will be a buffet that will have clear allergen labels, but still please let us know of any dietary restrictions and food allergies when you RSVP.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:00pm. To avoid missing anything, we recommend arriving between 3:30pm-3:45pm to ensure parking and finding a seat before it starts!

Question

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We'll have our amazing photographer, Sarah, capturing all the moments from the ceremony! We ask kindly that phones be put away during the ceremony portion. Feel free to take as many photos and videos you'd like once the ceremony is finished!
