We're getting married!

If you’re reading this, you likely already know our story. You're among our sacred circle that watched us graduate high school, fall in love, pick majors, move cities, take jobs, and now, choose each other as life partners—all while inching toward adulthood (still working on that). You are our relationship champions. For seven years, you’ve offered real-world advice, supported our adventures, lent your ears to our growing pains. Each of you has played an integral role in our story, and we cherish the support you’ve given us since the beginning. We met when we were babies. Seventeen, strong-headed and strong-willed, we were instantly fascinated by each other. Ellie was drawn to Beau for his quiet intelligence, Beau to Ellie for her fiery independence. Looking back, we made a few smart moves that got us here: in the summer of 2017, Beau switched enrollment from the University of Missouri to the University of Kansas on an inkling that Ellie might be the one for him (something he didn’t admit until many years later); we finally made our relationship “official” after deciding “friend” wasn’t an accurate enough label at each other’s family Christmases; we moved in as next-door neighbors in the Sigma Chi and Kappa houses in Lawrence, Kansas; Beau flew to Istanbul, Turkey, to meet Ellie for an idyllic month in Europe after her au pair era had come to an end; we leased our first apartment together in downtown Austin, Texas; Beau proposed to Ellie on a sunny November afternoon in the Texas Hill Country; and now, we’re venturing back to Kansas City to begin yet another new chapter. Each of these decisions was made possible by your overwhelming love and support, and we’re so grateful for that. Now, about this wedding! We’re absolutely thrilled to invite you to join us next February 2026 to celebrate love—ours and yours. Los Cabos, Mexico, holds a special place in our hearts, and we can’t wait to share it with you over long conversations, tacos al pastor, late-night laughter, and, of course, tequila.
