Bauhaus Brew Labs
Great brewery but we really go for the BEST food truck in Minneapolis, Animales Barbecue Co! This is also a great spot to start a Northeast brewery crawl — tons of amazing, local breweries and distilleries in the area with food trucks, music, and games!
Urban Eatery Minneapolis
Our favorite restaurant in Minneapolis (and Ellie worked here!), it's right on Lake Bde Mka Ska and a great place to stop for some guacamole and a beer after a walk!
The Loop West End
The site of our first date!! It's right outside the hotel and kitchen is open late!
Excelsior
Walk up and down Water Street and visit the shops, stop by the Excelsior Brewery for a s'mores beer (Ellie's favorite), look into a Al and Alma's boat tour on the lake, order a coffee at Dunn Brother's and walk the Excelsior Commons to the public beach on Lake Minnetonka. We love this neighborhood so much!
Maynard's
Our favorite place right on the lake! Great food, drinks, and things to do/see! Play a round of bags or pull tabs and order the Bootleg cocktail and twice baked wings.
