We met just before the world paused in 2020 while attending Boise State University. In our early days, we spent time exploring downtown Boise, walking along the river, and enjoying a classic 1-v-1 basketball games at nearby parks. What started as simple adventures together quickly turned into something much more meaningful. After Alessandro graduated, we moved to Bloomington, Illinois, where he earned his master’s degree at Illinois State University. We embraced Midwestern life, which included some pretty intense weather, and learned that no matter where we were, being together made any place feel like home. Now we live in Arizona, where Ellie will graduate with a teaching degree from Grand Canyon University in May 2026, and Alessandro works in HR at ADP in Tempe. Through every move and every new chapter, our love and partnership have only grown stronger. Whether we’re hiking new trails, getting a little competitive over games, or relaxing with a movie, our favorite moments are the simple ones we share together. We feel incredibly lucky that our paths crossed when they did, and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you.
