"Beach Formal" Elegant, but comfortable--there will be sand and salt and a breeze! For example: summer suits, linens, seersuckers, ties optional, skirt sets, short suits, maxi & midi dresses, jumpsuits, light & airy, etc.

What is the dress code for the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

"Dressy Casual" No jeans and t-shirts! Yes to dress pants/shorts and shirts for men, and skirts/jumpsuits/dressy blouses for women, or simply a dress.

What happens after ceremony?

We'll go straight to a champagne toast and the party since we will have already taken portraits earlier in the day.

Yes-- southern influenced cuisine and beer, wine, and bride & groom's favorite cocktails.

Can I take and post pictures of the reception on social media?

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ellieboardstheplourde so we can keep track of all of your pictures!”

Can I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

Please be advised this will be strictly prohibited as outlined in our contracts with our photographer and videographer. You can wait until the reception ;) We promise we'll get you the footage ASAP.
