How did we first meet?

All because two people swiped right!

We met the modern way — a swipe, a message, and a really good first date that turned into hours of laughter, stories, and the kind of spark that felt too good to be true (spoiler: it wasn’t). What started as McFlurry in Sainsbury's Longwater carpark, turned into a 12 month lockdown together, exploring new places, buying a house and a fur baby. The rest, as they say, is history…

What is our favourite thing to do together?

A date day in Southwold!

Nothing beats a beach walk with our fluffy sidekick, Henley, it really is hard to beat. Sand in our shoes, sea breeze in our faces, and a very happy dog. It’s our kind of perfect.

Most memorable trip together?

She packed swim suits, he packed a ring!

The Maldives — our engagement trip and Ellie-May’s bucket list dream! White sand, turquoise water, and a life-changing “Will you marry me?” (She said yes. Obviously.)

Who said I love you first?

He said it first — slightly tipsy, completely smitten.

After one too many pints at The Harte, we were on a classic drunken walk home. Once we made it back, Harrison got into bed, turned to Ellie-May, and slurred out a very heartfelt “I love you”… then started to cry! Romantic? Absolutely. Memorable? For all the right (and slightly messy) reasons.

Who is the better cook?

A match made in the kitchen (and cleaned up by Harrison)

Ellie-May, but is that any surprise? She’s the hostess with the mostest and can whip up a dinner party like it’s no big deal! Harrison’s role? He’s on clean-up duty, moral support, and occasional taste-testing. He calls it teamwork. Ellie-May calls it lucky.

Where are we honeymooning?

First stop: pasties and pub walks. Next stop: TBC

We’re kicking things off with a minimoon in Cornwall, our favourite UK getaway spot for fresh sea air, cosy pub lunches and days on the beach. Later in the year, we’re planning an abroad honeymoon adventure — destination still TBC.
