We’re Getting Married!

Our story began in 2004 when two young and impressionable 1st graders sat down in a Syre classroom not knowing how much their lives would be impacted by the other. I won’t lie and say we were immediately drawn to each other, not when I was afraid of boys and I think I can confidently say that Hugh was only interested in Star Wars and Legos at the time. It took quite a few more years before we really got to know each other—our paths crossing again through summer tennis and swim meets, but it wasn’t until sophomore year of high school that our friendship began when Hugh asked me to homecoming… and then only took him a few more years to finally ask me out. After high school, we went off to different colleges, figuring out life while growing together. We have since moved down to sunny California where we adopted a cat and dog, growing our little family. And now, nine years and countless memories later, we’re ready to tie the knot and start this next adventure together!
