FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

You may be asking yourself: what the heck does “Garden Party Formal” mean!? This is a valid question. What we mean by this is, ladies, come wearing your most lovely full length dresses, this could be a full gown or just a slightly elevated dress (think Easter Sunday but we’re not prudes here). Stilettos are unfortunately not the vibe since we are outdoors on uneven dirt. That being said a chunkier heel will do or just some cute flats! Guys, this is not the time to wear your wranglers. We are asking guys wear dress shirts and slacks if not a suit and tie. It will be hot so keep in mind a short sleeve option or something with a lighter material may be best. Boots are welcome and so are dress shoes! Given this is a Garden theme, florals are definitely encouraged!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We are having an alcohol free wedding! Not to despair though, we will have an open bar, an italian soda bar, that is.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our wedding is invitation only!

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by July 17th so we can plan accordingly!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Question

Can I bring my pets?

Answer

Whether it’s my bridesmaid Kayla’s cutie pup Fred, or one of Kate’s reptilian friends, unfortunately, no nonhuman guests will be welcome at our celebration.

Question

Can I wear a wedding dress and walk down the aisle too?

Answer

Probably not

Question

Can I play Candy Crush during the vows if I get bored and I don’t feel like anyone is watching and I have the volume really low but not completely off because it needs to be loud enough for me to hear it a little bit

Answer

We are requesting people keep their phones off and silent during the ceremony to prevent any distractions to our non-bored guests. You are very free to imagine yourself playing candy crush after the ceremony has concluded.
