Setting: Phoenix Sky Harbor airport Ellesse has been working on the ramp, handling luggage, since September, and Jourdin since 2015. They've seen each other mostly in the breakroom and at the same gate when Ellesse would marshall in a flight that Jourdin was picking up luggage for. They talk occasionally: Ellesse says Jourdin catches her eye because he is literally head-and-shoulders taller than everyone else in the breakroom, has a great smile and is always willing to help. Jourdin likes Ellesse's pretty blue eyes, work ethic and athletic background. Normally, when crews aren't working a flight, they sit in the breakroom. Jourdin, however, likes to hang out at whatever gate Ellesse is working at. One shift, while waiting for a flight at B2 where Ellesse is assigned, Jourdin [finally] asks her to go see Pitch Perfect 3 at the movies that night.
