We wanted to share a couple fun dance plans with everyone in case you want to participate with all of us goof balls in the wedding party the day of. I always thought it would so much fun to learn the dance from Beyoncé’s music video of All the Single Ladies and play it out at a wedding. Then when thinking of that I thought of one other fun, get everybody up and dance around kinda songs too…. the last dance scene in the movie Footloose. So we are going to play out flash mob style those 2 dances at some point the night of the wedding. Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes, kids are welcome! Parents please be aware that there will be an open fire pit area on property (only guests who are 18+ are allowed in the fire pit area per Venue rules) and a water fountain feature on the venue patio. We want everyone to have fun and enjoy the wedding celebration, big kids/adults and littles equally!! With that said, we just kindly ask that if you bring your kids with you to please be sure, for safety reasons, that they are properly tended to and supervised, especially when outside. Thank you!!

We will have a BBQ buffet for our reception dinner: • Pulled pork • Chicken fingers (Food Allergy FYI: Oat milk wash, No egg- cornstarch and Gluten-Free breading) • Brisket • French Fries (Food Allergy FYI: Fried in soybean oil) • Baked beans • Pulled chicken (Food Allergy FYI: Soybean Oil marinade, then braised) • Sausage (Sweet & Hot, with Peppers & Onions) • Cornbread (Food Allergy FYI: Vegan and Canola Oil Free) • Mac and Cheese • Garden Salad

As you are probably fully aware we are Very familiar with food allergies here in our families!! Please let Stacia or Ellery know ASAP on food allergies you have as we menu plan with the Executive Chef at Merry Hill.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there is ample parking lot space at the venue. It is a gravel parking lot so please walk carefully, especially for women in high heels.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Is smoking permitted?
Answer
No. No smoking allowed! This includes cigarettes and any kind of vaping device. No smoking of any kind, not even outside.
