What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will start at 11:30, so please try to arrive by 11AM to get seated.

Where is the ceremony and reception being held?

Both are located at Georgina's Weddings & Banquets 275 Boston Tpke. Bolton, CT 06043 Phone: (860) 647-0345

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception at Georgina's?

Answer

Yes, when you enter the parking lot, go to the back of the restaurant to park. There is a separate entrance to the banquet hall on the right side of the restaurant. It has a few steps. Handicapped parking is on the left side of the restaurant and is fully accessible. Someone will guide you to the ballroom.

Can I take pictures and upload to social media?

Answer

We have created our own social media for our wedding! It is called Wedibox and it will activate on December 20th. Please do not post to any other social media accounts. Simply scan the QR code from the "I Spy" card on your table, or go to this site: https://my.wedibox.com/recoT8R9bVLzMQ5o It includes features such as: unlimited picture uploads, live slideshows, digital voicemail guestbook, and digital text guestbook. So simple and so much fun for you to participate in our wedding! Will and I will enjoy viewing what you post for years to come!

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you may order from our Amazon registry to have it delivered to our home or bring it to our wedding. Our address is: 9 Concorde Way, Unit A2, Windsor Locks CT 06096. There will be a table for gifts and a card box at our reception for those wanting to give check or cash gifts.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No jeans, please. Shirt & tie is custom, and it can come off once the dancing begins! After talking with several guests, please wear sneakers if you would like to especially for dancing! Ellen will be changing into green sparkly sneakers for herself! We want everybody to be comfortable and have fun!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

Cocktail hour is open bar with Cold Hor D'oeuvres Display including Assorted International Cheese and crackers, with fresh fruits & vegetables served with dipping sauces. Dinner is plated starting with baby field greens topped with dried cranberries, mandarin oranges and topped with balsamic dressing. You will be asked for which entree you prefer when you RSVP. The side dishes are green bean almondine and baked potato with butter and sour cream to accompany the main entreé you chose. There will be unlimited coffee, decaf coffee, and a tea station. Our wedding cake is chocolate cake with raspberry mousse filling. We will have a hot cocoa bar with syrups and fixings! The children are bound to enjoy that along with us adults! (just add alcohol!)

Will there be an Open Bar?

Answer

Yes, Open bar will be open for cocktail hour after the ceremony, and the again after dinner for 2 hours. There will be a sign at the bar with the ingredients listed for our three signature cocktails!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We are inviting children, and they will be listed as "and family" on the invitation we send you.

We can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.
