If you ask Ellen: The dress code is semi-formal, meaning if you want to bust out a tux or gown: go for it! Otherwise, suits or cocktail dresses are welcome. Bear in mind that it will be winter in Chicago, and there will be a coat check! If you ask Tyler: The dress code is dressy business casual black-tie tropical invited, top-hats optional. No shirt, no shoes, no wedding.

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only affair!

Hey, the Planetarium appears to be in the middle of Lake Michigan. How am I supposed to get there?

Answer

There will be a shuttle departing from the Hyatt Regency before the ceremony: it boards at 5:30 PM. We will also have shuttles throughout the reception returning from the Planetarium to the Hyatt, with the last bus leaving as the reception ends around 12:30 AM. You can also utilize Uber, Lyft, or pedicabs if you dare! There will also be parking available nearby.

How are you handling the street virus known as COVID-19?

If you are fully vaccinated, then you're ready to party! If not, you have until December 3rd to do so, or please prepare to mask up!
