Claire and Ellen met in August of 1990 when their parents brought Ellen home from the hospital and ended Claire's short stint as an only child. Despite a profound difference of opinion on eating leftovers, these two call each other 3-4 times a day and love a good road trip together.

Ellen and Tina met on their first day of college at Catholic University in Washington D.C. Tina was a Theology major and had a poster of Anthony Kiedis over her dresser, which Ellen found confusing, but the two were fast friends. While both eventually transferred to new colleges, they have stayed close and still don't mind being referred to as "the twins".

Ellen and Stanzi first met at Camp Winona in the early 90's during Family Camp. Fast forward several years, and they found themselves as room mates in the female staff cabin of Junior Winona. Keeping in touch throughout the years, the two decided to take the leap together and move to Maine "for real" in 2016.

Ellen and Carolyn were introduced to each other by their significant others in 2017, and hit it off immediately. Both had recently moved to Maine and had grown up in Massachusetts. These two can (and tend to) talk for hours as if they haven't seen each other in years.
