Galveston’s Downtown area offers a unique shopping, strolling, dining, imbibing experience. Please note: Friday night December 5 through Sunday afternoon December 7, the historic Strand area will be cordoned off for the 2025 Dickens on the Strand Festival. All the shops and establishments are still open, you will just have to pay a Festival entrance fee to access the area. There are still lots of unique shops and areas to explore Downtown. We will have transportation via Galveston Trolley's from the Galvez Hotel. Schedule to come. Please also utilize Uber while on the island.
At the Temple there is limited parking in the parking lot. At the Artillery Club there will also be a parking lot with limited parking. If needed, street parking is available at both venues. If needed, you can leave your car at both establishments overnight as long as vehicles are picked up in the morning.
