This special place on Cherry Street is where Ellen & Rich root for the Fighting Irish football & basketball teams, and where Ellen has many fond teenage memories. Her sons also attended & graduated here. It is over 100 years old and has beautiful grounds (inside and out).

Rich & Ellen enjoyed an afternoon tour of the Maumee River waterfront via The Sandpiper Cruise. Here you can view various Metroparks, the largest mural in the United Stated of America, wildlife including cranes, blue herons, and bald eagles, beautiful homes, and downtown Toledo.
Ellen grew up eating pizza here with her family and friends as it was near her grade school (St. Pius X), as well as, it was near her maternal grandmother’s apartment. The Sylvania, OH location (Mayberry Square) is also where she enjoyed pizza and memories with the Best Family.
Ellen & Rich enjoyed pizza by the kitchen on Ash Wednesday, as well as it is their go-to spot for a delicious pizza any night of the week.
Other tasty Mancy locations are Mancy’s Bluewater Grille and Mancy’s Italian. Delicious food and a great piece of Toledo history.

Ellen attended undergraduate from 1998-2002 and Rich visited campus to attend the exciting high school football tradition (CCHS vs. SFS for the Irish Knight trophy… CCHS won!).

Ellen and Rich toured Toledo, OH during Ellen’s guided tour of Toledo (“Terrific Toledo Tours”) Rich’s first time to Toledo. One of the first photos Ellen & Rich took together was standing in front of the stadium one cold February afternoon. Visit the Swamp Shop for some merch!

A great experience for young and old. Enjoy a visit to the safari, feeding giraffes, elephants, children’s center, science museum, the aquarium, the amphitheater, and much more. The WPA architecture is beautiful to look at and the animals are loved by all.
