Welcome Home

We met in our church's youth group when we were just teenagers, both becoming interns for the worship team! There was an immediate pull between us, but we were too young to really know what that meant. So we became friends, best friends. For years, our friendship grew, slowly but surely becoming something that would outlast. There is something special about growing up together, falling in love & becoming who we were created to be, simultaneously. We have cherished getting to champion & grow one another, all these years. Fully aware of the beautiful & rare gift we've been given, in getting this story. Our story is one of redemption, becoming what we never should have been. Our story is one of growing, learning who we are, together. Our story is one of healing, allowing God to make us the beauty out of ashes. Our story is one of friendship, being two young hearts that chose to be friends before all else. And our story is one of homemaking, taking pieces of what was and creating a safe place for what will become. Our story is one only heaven could write, one of coming home after a long journey. If you are reading this, chances are you walked that journey with us. We could not be more thankful. The road was not easy, but here you are. Here we are. The porch light glowing with invitation, the front door beaconing us forward. Here, we exhale and say the only thing that is left to say, Welcome Home.
