Maid of Honor
800 characters aren't enough to describe our friendship. We've known each other since I met Mason and have the memories to show for it. She's my bestie for the restie, the Skyline chili to my spaghetti, the Busch Light to my Mac 'N Cheese!
Best Man
We've been best friends since playing middle school football together. We haven't lived in the same city since high school, but we always pick up right where we left off when we get together. He is a great influence on me (except the time he broke a windshield) and is as great a friend as anyone could hope for.
Bridesmaid
We were an unlikely duo, but quickly developed a bond you can only find in the Midwest. She helped make Spain feel like home for me. Now she holds the title of my favorite Spanish sidekick and a highly respected cheese connoisseur.
Groomsman
Aaron is my oldest brother. He always goes out of his way to help Ellen and myself out. Whether its letting me store all of my belongings in his basement, storing my motorcycle in his garage for 3 years, or letting me borrow his car for weeks at a time, he is an awesome brother and friend to have.
Bridesmaid
Facebook friends turned real life bffs. She's one of my favorite travel buddies and follows me no matter where I am in the world! One of the most personable people I know, with a heart of gold.
Groomsman
Nathan is the middle brother. Growing up we bonded over annoying Aaron and playing board games. To this day he is still teaching me new games and I continue with my childhood strategy: beat Nathan, then come in second.
Bridesmaid
She was the cool soccer star, I was the nerdy art geek. We bonded over caring for the elderly and our love for the Spanish language and have been inseparable ever since! No matter how long we go without seeing each other, we always pick up right where we left off.
Groomsman
I've known Andrew for almost as long as I've known Ellen. As Ellen's oldest brother I am honored to have him stand up front with me for our wedding.
Bridesmaid
Dorm neighbor to house roommate to best friend. We've fostered a dog together, carried a mattress through the hills of Clifton, and made more memories than we could ever remember! (Thanks, Busch Light)
Groomsman
Chris (Baby Giraffe) Is the first person I met in my freshman year dorm. He was sitting in his room spinning his keys on his desk with his head resting on his hand. I think we became friends out of boredom, but I'm glad we did. He is a great, responsible guy that I hope to emulate once Ellen and I finally settle down.
Bridesmaid
Our friendship was made over years of bowls of mashed potatoes in the Barrington stock room and now we've bonded into two of the biggest weirdos in all the land. We laugh at and with each other when no one else does!
Groomsman
I was introduced to Bob as "Chris's older brother" while at UC. We lived together for a number of years before he suddenly moved to St. Louis with a girl (now his wife). It's safe to say that his move was a bit of the inspiration I needed a couple years later to quit my job and move to Spain with Ellen. Bob is a person that is always ready to offer help and advice whenever I ask, as well as a dear friend.
Bridesmaid
We met in our first college level Spanish class and quickly bonded over our terrible español. Before I knew it she was taking me to Spain for my first study abroad in Salamanca. Our friendship bloomed with each "café con leche" and "agua de valencia" and we haven't looked back since!
Groomsman
We met in the freshman dorms at UC and lived together for years. He always brings a positive energy to any conversation and he is sure to ask about each of my family members by name. Connor is a person whose friendliness and charm I’d be lucky to have a 10th of.
