The dress code is Formal, Black Tie Optional. For example, men should wear suits or tuxedos and women should wear formal dresses or evening gowns.

Is there a hotel block or recommended accommodations?
Answer
A block of rooms has been reserved at Hotel EMC2, located in downtown Chicago at 228 E Ontario St, Chicago, IL 60611, from May 21st through May 26th. Rooms can be booked using the link in the 'Travel' tab. The last day to book is May 1st . Please be aware that hotel rooms in Chicago book quickly so you’re advised to make your reservation as soon as possible. The rate is $229+taxes/night for a queen-sized bedroom. If you want to guarantee a room with a king-sized bed the rate is $249+taxes/night. If you need a room with two queen-sized beds, the rate is $269+taxes/night. Please note that the link will only allow you to book a room with a queen-sized bed. If you want to make a modification, make your reservation with the link first and then send an e-mail to BORIS STEFANOV at bstefanov@hotelemc2.com or call him at 312-471-3814 to make any modifications to your reservation. If you would like to stay closer to the reception location check out the Travel section for some nearby hotels! UPDATE as of 04/08/2026: Our room block at Hotel EMC2 is now fully booked due to high demand (we’re so excited so many of you are celebrating with us!). Rooms may still be available at the hotel at the current prevailing rate (approximately $405/night, subject to change). Visit Marriott.com and search EMC2 to book. We are currently working on securing additional room options at a nearby hotel, and will update this page as soon as more information becomes available.

Will transportation be provided to the reception?
Answer
Yes, transportation to and from the reception will be provided for those guests staying at Hotel EMC2. You will need to arrange your own transportation if staying at other hotels.

Is parking available at the venue?

Yes, free, on-site self-parking is available at DiNolfo’s.

Are rental cars necessary if flying to Chicago?
Answer
Parking in downtown Chicago is generally expensive. We recommend using Uber, Lyft, taxis or Chicago CTA to and from the airport if you’re staying downtown. If you’re staying near the reception venue you will want to rent a car.

Refreshments will be served when the reception doors open at 6 pm followed by dinner. Please note the reception will be an alcohol-free celebration.
