This is the traditional South Indian Hindu wedding ceremony, conducted in two parts, with a coffee break. The bride, groom and their families will perform a series of rituals and seek blessings from priests, God, and their guests. Afterwards, there will be a traditional music performance, followed by a traditional South Indian lunch. Venue: traditional wedding hall, primarily seated indoors with bride and groom on stage - some rituals performed in the courtyard at the beginning. Attire: women can either wear a saree, or a lehenga (midriff top and full skirt set). Men should look for a kurta set. More details, including links to websites are in the FAQs. Transport: shuttles will transport guests to and from the Leela. Meet outside the Leela front entrance by 7.15am. The drive takes approx. 4 minutes. Food: vegetarian breakfast will be available on arrival, tea and coffee served throughout, and a traditional vegetarian South Indian lunch will be served at approx. 11.45am.
