This area is our favorite place for hiking, driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, camping.  There are numerous breweries, vineyards, etc.

We recommend Devil's Backbone Brewpub Basecamp, Lake Sherando (pictured), Crabtree Falls hiking trails, and Wintergreen Resort.
