Beach wedding / cocktail-ish. Don't worry, you won't be thrown out. For the wedding; Cocktail/Beach. For the resort; whatever you like. Some restaurant may ask for pants, closed toed shoes, and a shirt.
Ellen and Igor will be at the resort from 2/27-3/5. We'd love if people could join all or most of the week!

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo! We've been told 80% of guests need to be here, and this is where most everyone is booking currently. However if you don't book here, the daily guest pass is only ~$85 per day (and as far as I can tell that is the only penalty), so still very doable. Lindo has a 4-night minimum that weekend I think which may be difficult for some people. There are also connected/next-door Iberostar hotels such as the Grand (Adults only) and Maya that still allow full, easy access to Lindo at no additional cost, thus overall more convenient if Lindo doesn't work. All the Iberostars are all-inclusive.
You can pre-book a ride through here: https://www.cancunairport.com/taxi.html -- this is what I recommend as I've done it once or twice and it went very smoothly. Alternatively if you book through Southwest Vacations they offer Amstar Shuttle services for $40 each way, which sometimes is fine but most recently the wait was VERY long from the airport (60min). I haven't ever hailed a cab from the airport, but I have heard prices can be much higher, and indeed when I've hailed cabs from hotels this was true (as opposed to pre-booking).
