A Few Local Favorites

Idaho Falls, ID 83402

In Idaho Falls, you can spend your day exploring the "best little zoo in the West" and the world-class Museum of Idaho, enjoy indoor fun like escape rooms, bowling, arcades, and the East Idaho Aquarium, or embrace the outdoors by catching a Chukars baseball game and fishing or floating along the scenic Snake River.

Enjoy our community like a local by visiting our community farmer's market on Saturday morning located in downtown Idaho Falls, just along the Snake River. You'll be able to enjoy the views, eat from a variety of food truck options and shop unique crafts as well as fresh, local produce.

Heise

Heise, ID 83443

Only about 20 minutes out of town, Heise is a premier outdoor recreation destination near the Snake River, centered around its historic year-round mineral hot springs and a popular pizza parlor. Visitors can enjoy a diverse range of activities including a 7-line zip course, a summer water slide, 9-hole golf, a putt putt course, various river activities and extensive nearby trails for hiking or mountain biking.

Jackson Hole

Jackson, WY 83001

Jackson Hole is the ultimate mountain playground, acting as the gateway to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. With only a 2 hour drive, you can enjoy stunning scenes, hiking, biking, fishing, rafting or riding the tram to the top of the mountain for more gorgeous views.

Island Park

Island Park, ID

About 1.5 hours north of Idaho Falls, you can access another outdoor mecca: Island Park. This is a great day or overnight trip to do things such as fly fishing for trout, hiking, floating the crystal-clear waters of Big Springs, visiting the thundering Mesa Falls, spotting moose in Harriman State Park or renting a variety of motorized sporting equipment for your next adventure.

Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks

Yellowstone is a geothermal wonderland where you can witness erupting geysers and roaming bison, while Grand Teton offers jaw-dropping, jagged mountain peaks and crystal-clear lakes perfect for hiking and photography. Together, they make for an epic back-to-back road trip filled with wild landscapes and some of the best wildlife spotting in the country.
