The Wedding

Juneau is located in the Tongass National Forest, a temperate rain forest. It rains a lot. Always bring rain gear and rubber boots when visiting Juneau. For the wedding, dress according to the weather. Alaska casual if it's raining, semi-formal if the sun is out. The wedding will be outside if it is not pouring rain.
Orca Point Lodge is located on a small nearby island. The boat to get there departs the Don Statter Public Boat Harbor in Auke Bay (the boat harbor by De Harts and the Hot Bite) at 4pm. Don't miss it! Where to Park: Park at the Auke Bay School Parking lot and walk to the boat harbor. For those of you staying downtown, we will provide a bus to get you to the boat harbor and back. At 4:30 we will arrive at Orca Point Lodge. The wedding will begin at 5 and the reception will follow. Dinner will be provided. The choice is between salmon or chicken. The boat departs Orca Point Lodge at 9pm and returns to Statter Harbor at 9:30pm.
