Dancing and conversation lead to an exchange of phone number. Ellen told me she was looking for someone to play Pickleball with, and I also was looking to learn how to play pickleball, so met for Pickleball. Phone conversations were instrumental in learning we had much in common including church. On August 7. 2025 I asked Ellen on an official date to Rock The Dock featuring a Stix Tribute. The evening was wonderful and we dance to every song. This is where we had our first kiss. The moon was full and we both felt something magical. On another occasion playing Pickleball we encounter a brief lite shower and a spot on the concrete court formed a puddle in the shape of a heart, and upon returning home I witnessed a double rainbow. It was not long after we professed our love to each other.
