A celebration of love

Anuj was the first person to contact me when I started to promote my pilates private practice. He contacted me on Lakshmi Day, although I didn't know what that was at the time. Lakshmi is a Hindi God that is representative of abundance, fortune, wealth and prosperity. About a week prior, I had done a life changing, sacred ceremony with shamans from Africa. To me, this ceremony is what opened me up to the power and magic of the universe and somehow the lines in the ether between Anuj and I were connected by the heavens. In pilates, he was a stellar student, always very focused, motivated and respectful. His skills and technique accelerated quickly, as did our friendship. After we got to know each other quite well, we went out to dinner after an evening session and somehow saw each other in a different light. The beautiful Napa Valley wine we shared at dinner had nothing to do with it. As the holidays were approaching, the next day, I invited him to join family that was visiting Mount Shasta for Christmas. We drove up to Mount Shasta in his black BMW convertible with little Ruby, and the rest is history. We have been together ever since.
