First Thursday in the Pearl is a district-wide celebration that occurs on the first Thursday of each and every month (which happens to fall on the 4th of July). Combining a rich and thriving art scene with some of the best happy hour menus around has resulted in an event that has quickly become the place to be in Portland each month! The "hub" of First Thursday (music, food, and artist booths) takes place on NW 13th Avenue, just four blocks from the Canopy Hotel.
