One of Ellee and Jamie's absolute favorite places in Nashville! Open for over 40 years, they have live Bluegrass every night. Check the website for show start times. Cash only at the door so bring some cash, or use the ATM outside. Seating is first-come, first-served so show up early to make sure you get in and have a great seat!
World-famous! The "mother-church of country music" was the original home of the Grand Ole Opry and has hosted countless famous musicians over the years. Schedule a tour during the day or see what concerts are playing while you're in town!
One of our favorite places for dinner! Jamie works with the owners Jay and Chris and loves the food and environment. We take friends from out of town here often and always get rave reviews.
A 55-acre botanical garden and historic estate here in Nashville. Stop in and tour the grounds and beautiful gardens. They also have seasonal art shows and exhibits. A great place to explore!
A great place to stop in and hear some live music starting at 6 PM daily or 2 PM on Saturday. You never know who you'll see at The Row. Many record label execs spend time here seeking out the next country star. You may also see someone from The Voice or American Idol!
Try one of Nashville's most famous dishes - hot chicken! There are multiple Hattie B's around the city so check which one is closest to you, but this is the original in mid-town. You may also want to try the OG hot chicken restaraunt Prince's!
The current home of the Grand Ole Opry. Check out the shows while you're in town! Also right beside Opry Mills Mall if you'd like to get some shopping done while you visit.
Some of the best smoked chicken you'll ever eat! Try the smoked chicken nachos, or if you're bringing a crew get the "dump truck" of wings. THIRTY wings delivered to your table in a massive toy dump truck! Also, for Ellee's friends the Charlotte Ave Smokin Thighs is a VA Tech bar. Great place to watch the game Saturday.
Five Daughter's 100 layer donuts are a MUST when you visit Nashville. Highly recommend fulfilling your sweet tooth with one of their pastries. Jamie's favorite is the Vanilla Cream, while Ellee likes to experiment with the monthly flavors.
After you check out 5 Daughters go to Frothy Monkey for coffee and a substantial breakfast. They typically have a wait, so go put your name on the list, and check out 12 south. This is one of our favorite neighborhoods!
This is Ellee's favorite pizza place in Nashville. When she first moved to the city she lived across the street from the one on Demonbreun, so her and Decker became regulars. Great food and beer selection. They have a great patio when there is good weather and plenty of TVs for college football on Saturday!
