Answer
Whilst we love the little ones in our life, to give all parents an opportunity to thoroughly enjoy themselves, we respectfully request this is an adults-only event. We know this can be a difficult juggling act with childcare, so if you're unable to make it, or only one of your party can come, we completely understand!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Ceremony will start at 1pm, so please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to this to ensure you're there with plenty of time.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there is ample parking available at the venue! Cars can be left overnight but must be collected by 11am the following day.

Is there a dress code?

Think fancy garden party - we want our guests to look sharp but be comfortable. For those planning on wearing high heels, you may want to consider a block heel or wedges, due to the grassy terrain of the venue.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
There are plenty of nearby hotels and Airbnbs. This ranges from a Travelodge in Billingshurst (6 miles), Premier Inn in Worthing (6 miles), to glamping pods, cottages and village inns. It completely depends on your budget, and your travel plans to and from the venue. Additionally, there is a campsite attached to the venue that you're welcome to use. Are there any specific directions to the venue?

Venue address: Highden Estate, Washington, Pulborough, West Sussex RH20 4BA What 3 Words: ///duet.bake.glaze To find the venue from the South, take the turning after Windlesham House School (which is past the closed black iron gates) off the A24 through the (open) black iron gates. Follow the road until you come to a square with a large Christmas Tree in the middle. The Walled Garden is on the right directly after the square. To find the venue from the North, take the turning off the A24 for Windlesham House School. This will take you on a bridge over the A24. Then get back on the A24. Take the first (open) turning off the A24 through the black iron gates. Follow the road until you come to a square with a large Christmas Tree in the middle. The Walled Garden is on the right directly after the square. There will be ushers on the day directing you to the relevant car park within the venue, and Google Maps is very good at providing directions to the venue. Please only park in the field, and not the school. If any vehicles are parked on the school property, they may be towed away.

What about gifts?
Answer
The biggest gift to us is having your support and presence on our wedding day, so please don't feel obligated to give anything else. We know how these types of events can add up, so there is absolutely no pressure at all! However, should you feel inclined, we'll be planning our honeymoon after the wedding, and any contribution towards that would be greatly appreciated. There will be a stocked bar at the venue - please note they accept card only.
