In December of 2022 we had both decided to give online dating a try. We matched on the app Bumble just a few days before Christmas break. We were both about to head home for the holidays so we decided to go to a local brewery, Odd Story, before we left town the next day. As we met for the first time we both later told each other how comfortable and "at home" we immediately felt around each other! During that date we participated in an impromptu trivia night which ended up helping us really get to know each other. After that day we continued to hit it off and grew closer and closer. One of our favorite dates we went on (our second lol) Nathan decided we should play dinner roulette and each come to the date with 5 dinner choices. After randomly selecting a number, the choice we went with was Main Street Meats in downtown Chattanooga. After dinner we went to a local bar and next door was a cover band playing tribute to David Bowie (it was his birthday after all). We grabbed a drink at the bar next door and talked for a long while. After, we decided we still didn't want to night to end so we went over to celebrate Mr. Bowie. I think this was one of our favorite dates because at each place we got to see a different side of each other so early on in the relationship. There also was no pressure from either of us and we felt comfortable being ourselves from the very beginning. Ever since, that feeling has yet to change.
