We're so excited to celebrate with you!

It all started with the night of our last day of junior year.... We were at a pool party together, I was with my friends, and Max was in the pool with several girls around him. Nothing happened that night, but around two or three days later we were introduced to each other by our friend. From then on, we were together everyday that summer. Throughout this time, Max would repeatedly ask for me to be his girlfriend and I repeatedly responded with "no". When that "no" changed to a "yes" was when we were at sky zone with our friends, and he looked at me and said "Will you be my girlfriend already?".

During the Thanksgiving festivities of Black Friday shopping, Max purchased an engagement ring. From what I was told, if he didn't have someone being the angel on his shoulder he would have went over the top. A little after that, he knew he had to ask permission for my hand in marriage. That night he made up an excuse to go to my parents house to ask the question. From then on, I didn't make it easy on anyone and Pattie didn't either.

When Christmas time rolled around Joey, Max and I were shopping around for Christmas presents. We ended up at the same store and the same worker that Max got the engagement ring from. I was pointing out rings to Max, he was ignoring me, and Joey was asking questions about the present he wanted to purchase. At some point during this, Pattie mentioned something about helping Max a few days ago. Joey and Max were quick on fixing the situation because they said "Yeah, I came in here to look for the present for my mom". Sadly for Max, he felt like he had to cover up, so he proceeded to buy me a necklace and earrings from there so I wasn't suspicious.

There was not a lot of planning during this process, but Max and Rachel managed to pull it off very well! The night before the proposal, Max got off of work late. He contacted his mom and rushed over to get the ring. The next day Rachel and Max were secretly trying to plan everything out, and as you know I didn't make it easy. I was told that Rachel needed to get pictures for work, so Max's idea was for us to also take pictures together. The problem was that I wanted to wear comfy clothes, and he knew I would want to dress up a little for this occasion. After he convinced me, we went to Klondike Park and hiked up to the top. Rachel secretly recorded us when I was told to turn around in the "on top of the world" pose. Max was behind me on one knee and when I turned around, I thought he was giving me a promise ring. When I comprehended what he was asking, I said yes.
