How We Met
First comes school, then comes marriage.
I only remember one thing from AP Government, but it definitely stuck with me.
The Proposal
"If I wanted to ask a certain question, but I didn't have the traditional object, could I still ask it?"
Over our spring break, we decided to go camping at Colorado Bend State Park. Our second day there, following nine miles of hiking to see a beautiful waterfall, Henry asked the precursor to the big question - could he still propose if he didn't have the ring yet? I didn't think too much of it until he dropped to one knee in the middle of a field. March 25th was undoubtedly the best day of 2020, and romantic declarations are my new standard for camping.
