FAQs

Question

What should we wear?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal, and we’d love for everyone to feel great while looking polished and wedding-ready. For women, midi or maxi dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates in soft or vibrant colors are perfect. Florals, pleats, and flowy fabrics are all welcome. For men, dress shirts with slacks or lightweight suits in neutral or warm tones (like beige, sage, or soft earth colors) fit the vibe. Ties are optional. To keep things cohesive with the wedding party, we kindly ask: Avoid blue (to not match the bridal party) No white (reserved for the bride) Preferably no solid black (to keep the spring colors flowing) Thanks so much for dressing with care — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you get your official invite, the RSVP site will let you know if you have a plus-one included. To help keep things within our guest limit, we’ve mostly saved plus-ones for people who are married, in long-term relationships, or where both people in the couple know the bride and groom. That said, if the numbers work out, we may be able to offer a few more — so feel free to reach out to the bride if you have questions or want to check in. We will be making those decisions as we get closer! Thanks for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only event. We want parents to enjoy a fun night away and fully celebrate with us, while being worry-free. Thanks for understanding!

Question

What should we gift the bride and groom?

Answer

If you take a look at our registry page, you’ll find a link to our Amazon registry as well as our Venmo for contributions to our first home fund. Please don’t feel obligated to bring a gift — your presence is truly the greatest gift we could ask for.

Question

About the venue

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone at The Grands at Mulligans in Sartell! Both our ceremony and reception will be held there, so no need to travel between locations. There’s plenty of parking on-site, and everything you’ll need for the day is in one spot.
