What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see you in your best dress! The dress code is cocktail attire. Please refrain from jeans, t-shirts, and shorts.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have booked a hotel room block at the Hilton Garden Inn Akron-Canton Airport, located at 5251 Landmark Blvd, North Canton, OH 44720. Guests can book using our direct link or by calling 1-800-HILTONS (1-800-445-8667). When calling, you must identify yourself as being with the Ellam/Bender wedding. Direct wedding hotel block link: https://www.hilton.com/en/attend-my-event/ellam-bender-wedding-june-20-2026/ You will need to change the dates to fit your needs for the weekend of the wedding. After changing the dates, make sure to hit update to update the reservation. The hotel block closes on May 30th. Please make sure you book your room sooner rather than later if you plan on staying within our hotel block.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 pm. The doors will open one hour prior to the ceremony's start. We strongly suggest that you arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony's start time to ensure you are able to be in attendance.

Is there parking available at the receptions location?

Answer

At Guy's Party Center, there is plenty of parking for those who are driving to the location. On the day of the wedding, there are 3 wedding receptions at this location. There will be signs pointing you in the correct direction. However, our reception will take place at the back end of the parking lot, furthest away from the street. The entrance to our reception faces the trees.

The reception will end at 10:00 pm.

How will I get to and from the reception venue?

Answer

If you are staying at the hotel there will be a shuttle to transport the guests from the hotel to Guys party center throughout the night. There will be a shuttle schedule at a later time.

Will the wedding be indoors?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and the reception will be indoors.

How close together are the ceremony and the reception venues?

Answer

The ceremony and the reception venues are about 15 minutes apart. Please make prior arrangements for driving to the ceremony.

Is there parking at the ceremony location?

There is parking at the ceremony location. However, the parking is limited. It is suggestion to carpool with others for the ceremony.

Answer

The doors will open for the reception at 4:30pm. The reception will begin at 5:00pm with grand entrances at 5:15.
