Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the welcome party, please wear cocktail attire. For the wedding, think Spanish garden party. Take that as you may!

Question

How to get to Altafulla?

Answer

There are a few options for travel. The closest airport is Reus (REU), from there it is a 20 minute transfer by car. You can fly into Barcelona (BCN), from there, the journey is around 1 hour by car or a 1 hour bus from Terminal 1 to Altafulla. You can also take a train from Barcelona Sants (in the centre of the city) to Altafulla which will take around 1 hour. Please note, both hotel blocks are located in Altafulla, the Castell is located in Tamarit.

Question

Will there be a shuttle service from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have a shuttle leaving from Altafulla Mar Hotel at 4:30 pm (4 min walk from the May Beach Boutique Hotel), and there will be two shuttles back from the Castle. One shuttle will leave earlier and the second will leave later (for the late night crowd). You can also order taxis to and from the venue for anyone who needs a more flexible schedule. The venue is a 20 minute walk down the beach from the hotel, so for the adventurous type, feel free to walk along the beach home!

Question

Will I need a Visa for traveling to Spain?

Answer

We are monitoring the need for a Visa to enter Spain, and will update with any info as we get closer. Please note, if you are traveling through England you will need a UK ETA. It's about $12, takes two seconds to apply, and is valid for 2 years! This is done most easily using the UK ETA app (can be downloaded from the google or apple app store), but can also be done online at: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta
