Are there hotel blocks? Where should we stay?

Answer

There are no hotel blocks. Please take a look at historic Ashland, VA, AKA The Center of the Universe. They offer a bed and breakfast and a Hampton Inn. In the other direction, you can also check out Short Pump, Virginia. The closest accommodation to the venue is Lake Anna, offering Airbnb and Vrbo.

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Depending on the weather, the event will mostly be outdoors. If everything goes according to plan, the only time everyone will be under a covered area is during the reception. Given that the event will be in October, I recommend bringing a light sweater for the temperature change when night falls.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that all RSVPs be submitted by September 4, 2026, at least six weeks before the big day.

Do I get a plus one? Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we would love to celebrate our special day with everyone, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate all guests. When you RSVP, only the individuals who are formally invited will be listed, and you may indicate whether each listed guest will be attending. If a name does not appear, that individual is not included in the invitation. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
