We’d seen each other around at wrestling tournaments for years, just a quick glance or a simple little “hi” here and there. Two familiar faces moving in the same circles, never quite crossing paths at the right moment. That finally changed during a boys’ weekend at the cabin where I happened to be as well. For the first time, we actually talked. What began as a simple conversation somehow turned into hours that felt completely effortless, as if we were catching up on all the moments we didn’t even know we’d missed. One date turned into many, and “let’s see where this goes” somehow turned into packing up our lives and moving to the other side of the world together. From there, life only got sweeter, and MUCH louder. We welcomed Izzy and Peyton, and then baby Madeline, filling our home with the kind of beautiful, joyful chaos we wouldn’t trade for anything.
