FAQs

We will add to these as more details are solidified. For now, please see below.
Question

Can I bring a plus one or another family member not on the guest list?

Answer

We are having a micro wedding and are unable to accommodate any guests not listed on your invitation, including children. We know it’s not easy to keep a guest list so small, especially when it means not having all of our extended family and friends there. Please know that this decision comes from a place of wanting a very intimate celebration as well as the physical size and logistical capabilities of our venue. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

What is the venue?

Answer

Ella and Joey are getting married at Ella's grandparents' house, located at 100 Pinehurst Drive. The property is located on the Granville Golf Course. The ceremony will take place outside, while the reception will be held inside the home and on the deck. PLEASE NOTE: The ceremony area requires guests to walk in the grass down a slight incline. Ladies, choosing a sensible shoe (a low heel or block heel) would be wise.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive promptly at 4:30 p.m. The ceremony will begin at 5 p.m.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Since our celebration is located at a private residence, parking is limited. We highly recommend carpooling if possible. Street parking is available along Pinehurst Drive right outside the house. Pinehurst Drive is on a hill, so be prepared to walk with caution.

Question

Will there be transportation available?

Answer

For those staying at the Granville Inn or Buxton Inn in downtown Granville, a shuttle van will make multiple trips before the ceremony and toward the end of the night. The Buxton Inn will serve as the home base for all shuttle rides. Those who are not staying at these locations are welcome to park downtown and walk to the Granville Inn to catch the shuttle. Uber may be an option, but since Granville is a small town, availability is limited.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal (garden party style). Ladies, think floral dresses and cheerful colors. Gentlemen, think suits or dress pants with a button-down (tie optional). Our ceremony will be outside, so airy fabrics and grass-friendly shoes are ideal.

Question

What will the food options be? Will allergies be accommodated?

Answer

We will have a variety of appetizers available during cocktail hour, as well as a large spread of food for the buffet-style dinner to accommodate most allergies and dietary restrictions. Please note any allergies/restrictions on your RSVP form (vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc).

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Duh! And it’s free! We plan on having plenty of beer, wine, and liquor.

Question
